Package Restrictions
To keep shipments safe and compliant for everyone, a few categories of items can't be shipped through STS, on either sea or air cargo.
Restricted and prohibited items
- Phones
- Live plants
- Weapons
- Chemicals (for laboratory use)
- Frozen or perishable goods
- Other commonly restricted or illegal items
Important: Packages found containing illegal or restricted items will be surrendered to customs. Once surrendered, these packages cannot be retrieved — by you or by us.
If you're unsure whether something you're planning to ship falls into a restricted category, it's always worth asking us before sending it over — better to check first than risk losing the package.
